Budweiser Events Center  Located just twenty miles west of Greeley Colorado is the Budweiser Events Center and Larimer County Fairgrounds which all inclusive is called the "The Ranch" It is located just off I-25 at the Crossroads Boulevard exit. From Greeley it is west on highway 34 to Centerra Parkway then two miles north.

The events center is the Larimer Counties real success story. Whoever decided to build this complex the way they did had some of the best vision in our area. For government to build something that has been and continues to be the center stone of a large and super successful entertainment and shopping complex has always been an amazement to me.

The Budweiser events center is located so that all three cities in the area Greeley, Fort Collins and of course Loveland can drive to it with ease. It is 20 miles from Greeley about 25 from Fort Collins is on the eastern edge of Loveland.

Although when they built it 2003 it was sitting forlornly by itself on the freeway. But since then it has become surrounded with fine hotels, great shopping and much office and industrial space that the area developers are fast filling in the spaces. 

Wal Mart was a resident here with their large regional supply center before the Larimer County Center was developed but they were virtual alone until the event center happened.

The Bud Center as it is called by the locals is a popular venue for nearly ever kind of entertainment from local to national. The fairgrounds called by the county, "The Ranch, is the home of many agriculturally based events which this county and it's neighbor Weld County, were better known for in the recent past.

The Bud Center is the home of the Colorado Eagles Hockey and the "Colorado Ice" indoor football team. Many locals believe the names of our sports teams are backwards it should be the Ice for Hockey and Eagles for football. The Bud Center also garnered a top 10 in "Venues Today" in its first year of operation. It has hosted many national acts and musical variety shows including Disney on Ice and of course the Larimer County Fair and PRCA Rodeo. On of the large premier events held annually now over Labor Day is Thunder in the Rockies one of the largest gatherings of motorcycles in the U.S and it spreads over all three area cities.
